Mr. Sushil Ansal who is fondly called Sushil ji by his peers is the chairman of the Ansal API Group. Under his strong and dynamic leadership, Ansal API has scaled the heights of the real estate sector. A graduate from St. Stephen’s college, Delhi University, Mr. Sushil Ansal got into the real estate sector way back in 1960s when he was just 21 years old. Though his father, Chiranjiv Lal Ansal wanted him to be a civil servant, Mr. Sushil Ansal had set his heart on entering the domain of real estate and therefore went with his choice. Over the years he has established Ansal API as among the top most Realty and Infrastructure companies of India.

From a 21 year old boy who followed his heart to becoming the Moghul of real estate, Mr. Sushil Ansal has come a long way and how! Besides having been the Chairman of Overseas Construction Council of India, he was also the Past President of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He has chaired the National Housing Committee of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and has been actively associated with various other Chambers.

Mr. Sushil Ansal is an innovator and is a pioneer of the shopping mall culture in Northern India. In 1998, he built the ‘Ansal Plaza’; this was followed by building a chain of malls. However, convincing the government regarding building the first shopping mall and later for multiplexes was not a cake-walk. But Mr. Ansal’s dedication and perseverance made it possible
